Role Overview
The selected candidate will support translational science work by reviewing scientific and clinical literature, preparing research-based content, supporting clinical and scientific documentation, and helping convert complex biomedical information into clear and structured outputs.
This role is suitable for candidates with a strong background in biomedical science, life sciences, clinical research, genetics, biotechnology, pharmacology, public health, or related fields.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed biomedical, clinical, and translational science literature searches.
- Review, summarize, and interpret scientific publications, clinical studies, and relevant biological evidence.
- Prepare scientifically accurate content for internal reports, research summaries, clinical development documents, and technical presentations.
- Support development of protocol synopses, clinical summaries, study background sections, and CSR-supporting content, where required.
- Manage citations, reference libraries, and supporting scientific evidence.
- Compile and quality-check appendices, including methods, reference lists, supplementary materials, and document cross-references.
- Ensure consistency of scientific terminology, document structure, numbering, formatting, version control, and style guide requirements.
- Work with translational science, clinical, data science, and design teams to prepare clear and high-quality scientific outputs.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in biomedical research, translational science, scientific writing, clinical research, medical writing, biotech, pharma, CRO, research institute, or academic publishing.
- Strong experience in reviewing scientific literature and preparing structured scientific or clinical content.
- Ability to create scientific figures that explain complex biochemical pathways.
- Experience working with citations, reference libraries, technical documents, and evidence-based scientific material.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple documents, and maintain high accuracy under timelines.
- Experience in clinical development, translational research, evidence synthesis, or systematic reviews is an added advantage.
Educational Qualifications
- B.Sc, M.Sc, M.Phil or PhD in Biology, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Pharmacology, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Public Health, Clinical Research, or related discipline.
- Candidates with research experience in immunology, genetics, genomics, clinical medicine, translational biology, or related areas are preferred.
- Training or experience in clinical research, regulatory writing, medical writing, systematic reviews, or evidence synthesis, and a track record of publications are an added advantage.

The ideal candidate should be scientifically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with complex biomedical information. You should be able to read and understand scientific literature, write clearly, manage references accurately, and contribute to high-quality research and clinical documentation.
