Cloud / DevOps Engineer – GCP & Data Infrastructure
Wulfstan Analytics is developing a cloud-native data platform designed for high-volume data processing and analytics. We are seeking a Cloud / DevOps Engineer to build and manage the infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and containerized environments powering this platform.
About the Role
This role is critical to ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance across our cloud-native analytics infrastructure and deployment environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and manage cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform preferred)
- Configure and maintain virtual machines, storage, and networking
- Build and manage Docker-based environments
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployment
- Monitor system performance and ensure stability
- Support backend and data teams with infrastructure needs
- Manage access control and security configurations
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with GCP or AWS
- Strong Docker experience (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of Linux environments
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Understanding of networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana
- Exposure to data pipelines or batch processing systems
